We explore the garden examining different kinds of leaves, their different shapes and sizes observing where and how they grow. We select some, then asking the reason for their choices to have a conversation around why some might be considered more appealing than others, then we proceed to create some artwork with them.
Leaf Rubbings
We will prepare some leaf rubbing artwork, with notes and annotations appropriate to the age of the attendee. This then becomes an exercise in observation, recall and memory, notebook journalling, and creativity and self expression.
