


Overview
Eggs are among the most nutritious foods on the planet. They are also cheap, flavourful, and easy to prepare. Not surprisingly they are easily available in our supermarkets and are even subsidised by the Malaysian government.
However the average egg comes from a factory farm where the hens are poorly treated, cramped together in unhealthy, inhumane conditions.
We take a closer look at how we can better understand where our eggs come from, understand all the related terminology to navigate to making better choices andconclude with why we should make those choices.
