Meet the Team


Chris was a fashion designer, design director and graphic artist working in NYC and London before returning to Malaysia in 2010 when he set up Johor Green - a platform for sustainable living. The platform has now evolved into: JOGREEN which supplies Culinary & Wellness Botanicals; NATURE BASED that provides Nature Based Programming & Content & INDIEFLORA that provides Landscape Art & Design
Chris has a B.Sc in Economics from Loughborough University UK and is a qualified Instructor in Ikebana from the Ohara School. Chris' work as an activist, educator and entrepreneur in the sustainability, nature and environmental space is primarily informed by his background in creativity and innovation.


Nisha worked in talent analysis and skills development for the Business Services Department at Accenture and Petronas. She cofounded Ecocentric Transitions in 2010, a consultancy and programming resource focussed on sustainability and community engagement. In 2019 she created and published RIMBA the card game pioneering play based learning about Malaysian wildlife, habitat and conservation.
Nisha has a B.Sc in Aeronautical Engineering from Bristol University and is a certified Permaculture designer. Nisha's' work in community engaged environmentalism underscores her interest in fostering sustainability culture and driving behavioural change.
