This week follow up last weeks prelude to SECOLA’s: Edible Education programme.
We cover the main components of our programming for children and families intended to improve understanding around food- one of the most important issues affecting their health and environment. I reference a foundational essay I wrote: Eat your landscape which explains an important philosophy that has underscored my work in landscape and environmentalism; and a recent one about Cooking that expands it further.
We map out how we plan to move forward with Edible Education both as a plan for future programming and also as a launching pad for more discussion and discovery around the subject.
